CORAfrica Hires a New Coordinator:

Ithaca, NY -- November 27, 2006 – Emily MacDowell was hired as CORAfrica’s new USA Coordinator. Emily hails from Vermont and recently graduated from Ithaca College with a B.A. in writing and anthropology. She spent much of her college career traveling, and studied abroad in Merida, Mexico. She has also interned in the publications department of the Smithsonian's Museum of the American Indian and the research department of National Geographic Magazine. She is currently an editorial assistant for the Finger Lakes Community Newspapers, but dedicates the rest of her time to CORAfrica.

Children of Rural Africa (CORAfrica) is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization dedicated to providing educational opportunities for rural children in Africa.
